Harder edged classic rock/gold bassed Active rockers

is there any OTA stations (noo internet or web-only stations please) that play harder classic rock?
ACDC, Natheris, Van Halen, Navonna, something simular to WYSP in its last incarnation?
I liked the way CBS did rock on that station, a much harder version then MGK.
another good former one was Jacksonville's "Rock 105: Classic Rock that really rocks"

Navonna?... did you mean Nirvana?

What your talking about is what most classic rock stations are today. First, you have to make sure you don't get a hold of a "classic hits" station. Try KSHE out of St. Louis, or WIXV out of Savannah. KSHE, is an interesting character. They play deep classic rock at times from bands like Yes, The Outlaws and Electric Light Orchestra but they also play the 90s grunge rock and 80s rock as well like Metallica and Nirvana. On Monday nights, they have Monday night metal which goes beyond classic rock metal bands from the 80s but also gets into the Manson of the 90s.

I think most classic rock stations, today, play stuff from the 70s 80s and 90s and include bands you mentioned above. AC/DC is played about every hour on WIXV.

99.1 WPLR in New Haven, CT has evolved into the type of station that you've seemed to describe. Occasional currents, but mostly 70s to 90s harder classic rock.
