Hardline Poll

I received the following by email this morning:

Jeff 'Catman of the America's' Catlin here, Program Director of the little Ticket.

From time to time I ask a select group of P1's to give me feedback on Ticket trends and programming items that you may have heard on the air.

Part of my decision process as PD includes gathering all type of information from various sources, including our most dedicated listeners.

I need your help again..... maybe you've heard the Hardline +1 shows recently. I want to know what you think! Please click the link below and tell me who you thought was the best, and the worst, +1 on the Hardline.

Nobody will see your responses except for me. Take it right here: http://www.theticket.com/Polls/hardline.html

Thanks for the help, enjoy the rest of Compound Week!
Cat

You've essentially destroyed their research by posting this on the web. That email was clearly directed to certain people in their database. Very possibly a certain subset of their P1 database that you could not determine (people in certain age ranges, zip codes, gender, etc.).

Now, P1's might end up with a co-host "non-P1's" chose. Even worse, the competition (and their friends, and everyone in their offices) may be voting on this like crazy now.

I don't think you can vote from that link. I just thought the questions were interesting and I thought other ppl would comment on which ppl they liked, did not like, etc.

I can. The buttons work, and the submit code is correct.

You could have posted the questions without referencing the email or the link.

Well I voted from my email. Tough choices I think and I told Cat the same in the comments. I liked Mark, Richie, Bob and Kevin. Do you think they will break up BAD radio and leave Dan with Donovan and move Bob to the afternoon? Donovan is sportsy, I could see it working with Dan and I can see Bob with the Hardline. But what do I know? I am just a dirty P1....

PS
and since I had to vote, i chose K-Scott

Oh darn Bkane..ruin a research survey?/ OMG that station will come to a screeching halt now.

Like this "research" is anything more than a feel-good for the listeners.

Or the folks in programming, for that matter.

Obviously Followill is a good fit. Personally I was surprised how much personality John Rhadigan had the various times he filled in (not just for the hardline). I could see him developing some chemistry with the rest of the boys and still be very sportsy.

Personally, I thought Richie Whitt brought the most and fit in the best. He's funny, but doesn't try too hard (like some of the others on the list). He's also plenty sportsy. And Followill wouldn't take this gig, would he?

Followill and Doyle King are the keepers.

I would find another use for K-Scott.

Doyle King being on there is a joke and nothing more. This survey was nothing more than a feel good thing for listeners. I don't think they're going to change or add to the current lineup.

But if the listeners think it's a funny joke, then you might want to see where else you can take it. Remember, most good bits start as accidents.

You're probably right about that.
