Harris AMS-G1 Manuals

looking for scans or copies of the manual for this harris C-QuAM Exciter.

yea, but they are not individual(or experimenter) friendly. I don't have a harris account and i'm not a licensed b,caster. i am hoping there is someone out there kind enough to scan them for me. i'd like to do c-quam on a carrier current type system.

There is no need to be a licensed broadcaster to sign up for download access to such Harris website pages. I am not, yet I had no problem in doing that.

BTW, if you don't think this Harris manual is "individual (or experimenter) friendly," then why in your post here are you asking for someone else to copy it, and send it to you?

I went back and filled out the info. they scaled back the signup process to just a single page. so i went through the process and got my info. finally :)

Get all you can from their website now. Next week (kidding... sorta) they'll figure out how to charge you to access stuff. (j/k) I remember before the internet was a very viable option I called those (#*$ and wanted to get a manual for a msp-90. They wanted 80 bucks!

Harris = Preditory

Well i'm not tossing any more $$$ into what amounts to a hobby. especially not for documentation. I am going to give C-QuAM Carrier Current Station a try. I have C-QuAM Receivers and have been told that when set up correctly C-QuAM can sound superior to FM Stereo. I have the AMS Exciter a Cunningham Tx and ATU-AC Line Coupler and a CRL 4s AMS Processing Chain. all my studio gear is also professional b,cast grade. I'm anxious to get it all wired up and running to hear how it sounds :)
