Anyone know of a Harris FM2.5H3 or K collecting dust within a reasonable distance of Indy or Louisville? PM me if you do. Have a non-com CP that needs to be built soon.
 
Got 2 here in South Georgia...one working, one needing a plate transformer. Email me if you're interested.
 
Have an H-3 at New Martinsville (near Wheeling). About 5 hours from Indy, about the same from Louisville.

Was working, loading cap failed, however have a replacement cap never installed. On 92.3, was on 89.5 previously. Would probably tune in that range without much adjustment. It's still connected to AC, we can probably fire up on a dummy--have a 10KW load I can bring up there. Would need "plumbing" to do so, though (1 5/8ths EIA out to 3 1/8ths into dummy). It's set up for direct drive to final from exciter--needs about 25 watts to drive to full power.

Just wanted to publicly thank you for a good transmitter at a price a non-com could afford. It's on the air & purring like a kitten is spite of it's 36 year old birth date. Thanks Tom & thanks Radio-Info!
