Harris MW-1 parts

I need some brushes for the rotary transformer. From what I can make out, the transformer in this
TX is not the factory one.

It's made by Staco Energy Products, Dayton, OH. The type is 033-5536 0 - 40V 25 Amp

Has anyone got some of these brushes they wish to part with? I have contacted Staco and they only
have one of the two brushes left - and aren't sure if they can supply any more.

when I can't find a brush I need I have been able to make them using a brush from a starter motor for a car

Just get one that is close and use a file to male it the right size, works great and is very inexpensive

Pete's got your back on that one, Studio1. When I engineering my station with an MW-1 I was lucky to never have any problems with the autotransformer. Mine was with the relay panel in the front swing-out door, but a good burnishing cured that fine.
