As a teenager in the 1960s,I listened to him every morning on my transistor radio ,when he took over the morning spot on Music Radio 77WABC;

Happy belated birthday to one of my childhood favorite DJ's, back when WABC (same with 101.1-WCBS & 102.7 WNEW) was one of the NY stations to listen to. Long live rock!
