Hartford Ratings Released 3/22

Interesting to see out-of-market WFCR doing well. I wonder which dayparts are driving that number. I would assume that the classical music from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and/or the jazz from 8 to 11 p.m. are finding receptive ears, because WFCR's morning and evening drive news/talk blocks are essentially the same as WNPR's -- anchored by All Things Considered and Morning Edition. The big question, of course, is whether the music listeners, in both the Springfield and Hartford markets, are donating at levels proportional to the ratings.

But nobody moved up or down significantly, just fractions of a point this time. WTIC AM should do better in March because of the storm forecasts and UCONN women in post season.
