Brammy's observations: It's interesting to see such a big gain by WRCH. It's also interesting to see both NPR stations went down.

I found myself staying away from a lot of those. WZMX is supposed to be playing Hip hop and it's mostly pop with some reggaeton shows. WMRQ is like a hipster pop station to me LOL but WRCH seems to know what they are doing. They do a great job playing music from the 80s till now (which that is popular with many people and businesses) It has something for everyone. Great to see Kool up in the ratings (even though i'm still pissed that they refused to answer my email about getting a bumper sticker) They really have a nice oldies mix and stuff sometimes I never heard before

You're not the only who's emails get ignored by Full Power Radio regarding Kool Radio. I along with a few of my Facebook friends have emailed them a couple of times about the annoying hum that's been on the 990-AM signal for many months. It's good that they're filling the Oldies hole, but it's a complete Mickey Mouse Operation. 990/96.1 ran dead air most of the day on both January 1st and January 5th. (At least on the first I was able to check in the car and 1270 Springfield was on). Last night the voice tracking was messed up. Either someone uploaded the wrong voice tracks or the wrong playlist. (At least during the 6PM hour. I don't listen all day long). All the song titles Michael Maze announced and anecdotes about the songs were wrong. Some genius at Full Power Radio also decided to change the stream to the Connecticut feed even though the logo still says Kool 1180 and the stream URL still says WSKP. That means no Kool Radio on the stream on Sundays 8:30AM-2PM and on Friday evenings after 6:45PM September-November.
