Brammy's thoughts: WHCN and KOOL 96.1/990 play some of the same music and both were down. Yet WDRC-FM which plays some songs that are on both stations is up. Are people sick of Oldies? Is the state's budget crisis the reason WTIC (AM) and The Talk of Connecticut went up? Interesting that WPOP showed up with a 0.1 in the ratings. The last several ratings period they've been listed at N/A.

0.1-point variations like WRCH and WKSS's represent no change at all, and the dips for WHCN and WNTY (W241CG) are so slight as to be virtually meaningless.

I wouldn't call the WPOP blip interesting. Hardly anyone is listening, just as before, but in October enough people evidently listened to nudge it into the ratings with the bare minimum number.
