Harvey "Big Bird" Kojan Let Go from FM99 WNOR

Shocker! Active Rock "FM99" WNOR/98.7 Norfolk PD Harvey "Big Bird" Kojan has been canned after programming the station for over 15 years. Big Bird was also doing afternoons. Reach out to Kojan at [email protected].

Also let go was the cluster's General Sales Manager, Jaqueline Schillereff-Jackson. She took over both station (WNOR and WAFX) last year when Barry Haugh was let go. And the cluster's webmaster, Jason Hillegas, was pink-slipped.

Could The station be swiching formats? What Happens to all the airstaff at WNOR? What format whould Saga put on 98.7 if WNOR leaves rock?

Update

With Harvey "Big Bird" Kojan's exit at the PD chair at Active Rock "FM99" WNOR/98.7, Mike Beck (PD at sister Classic Hits "106.9 The Fox" WAFX) adds WNOR's PD strips. Beck will also get the Operations Manager position for the cluster.

Former afternooner/APD Tim Parker is filling in, for now, to handle FM99's afternoon shift. Parker's main focus is work at Studio Center. Sonja remains the APD and MD for the station.
