Ok I have been on the beach since January, not that it's life or death to find another position. I had received an e-mail Friday that hit me like other ones that were a hoax. This one was real...
To preserve confidentiality I X'd out the contacts, but it seemed rather fishy. I did contact them, and varified that the contact was not a hoax. and did send them my E-package.
I was told that there were 2 stations in the ownership group that needed a sports talk host, I have never done a long form show. Just scores and highlights.
Along the same lines... a station in Texas sent me a similar deal but doing news. It has been a long time since I did news. But the apparent thought is that I may be ready to try something new.
Is anybody here in the camp that Producers are the next talk hosts?
