Has anyone heard Southside Steve on Eagle?

Perfect. Fellatio jokes on the Eagle. Victor must be very proud.

Well, what has Eagle done in the past to make them a player today? Victor may not enjoy Steve's style of radio, but men 25-54 do. Plus he brings in revenue. Could they be phazing Rhubarb out? Build a morning show around Steve and Dallas?

Inside, now thats a great post: LMAO, why? you might ask?
Because to know that finally Rhubarb would be put to pasture where he belongs thats great.. That old good ole boy southern style of radio just doesnt work here anymore. Ok, wait, let me say this it doenst work with me. Im from the south born and raised here in Atlanta Georgia, Not the ATL, Not Hotlanta, but Im from a town in the south, and I really dont care for that southern style of delivery. I also must say in his day old Ruby may have been ok, but folks hes had his time, and its time to move onto another direction.

Rhubarb was phoning it in when I was a jock there in the early 90s. Nice man. Charitable man. Great fan allegiance. But once Moby raced past him, the will to improve was gone and never resurfaced. Plus, ABC wasnt going to give him a chance to catch up anyway.

Consider what a gentleman and professional he's been considering it's yet another "radio abuse" story. He's THE top dog on Atlanta country radio forever. The competition buys out his station. His frequency is forever relegated to a hedge signal to make sure 101 always wins. He's basically instructed not to win. Yet he still used what little he had left to exhibit his true love for country music and do good things for people.

Of course, I'm talking about him like he's already gone...which may not be the case. But either the station changes to suit what Southside Steve is, or Southside Steve changes to what the Eagle has been. And I bet it's gonna be the first one.

If you look back to the comments made in January regarding SS and Rhubard,
it is clear how mistaken some of you were. Yea, Moby raced past Ruby, but on the way down and to Athens and out of the Atlanta market. SS is now working outside for the Eagle and doing well.
Ruby and Dallas are still doing great and are right where they belong, at the top of Atlanta's country radio scene.

Nobody does the personal appearance as well as SSS. Contrary to the naysayers on this board, he's doing well and their clients love him.

This is true but what happened? Did I miss something? SS is not 3rd mic on the show anymore?
