Has anyone noticed changes in news at KTAR 92.3

Has anyone noticed changes in news at KTAR 92.3? That they dropped ABC Newscasts at the top of the hour from 5am to 10pm Monday - Friday.
ABC news is aired overnights at 30min and on the hour. ABC breaking news is still aired at anytime. Local newscasts are aired only during this time. Some reported national stories are credited as from NBC News. Is KTAR adding NBC News affiliation or switching from ABC News?

NBC? Shirley, you jest.

Unless there's a major national story, KTAR serves the Valley better by leading with local and state news. They got a big news staff, so it only makes sense to use them as much as possible.

Now if someone wants to start a thread on the new afternoon line up of Chris & the board op and Gaydos trying to reinvent himself again, we'd Shirley opine.

In short order, Gaydos became an unfunny parody of himself years ago. Frankly, "reinventing" his tired schtick won't cut it. 😑

Well, yeah, except for news that breaks after they've already gone home on Friday - in which case there's pretty much no "new" news coverage again until Monday morning. 91.5, for all they've outsourced their whole station to NPR, at least has local staff covering local news on the weekends.
