Has Cumulus/ Cincinnati used the hatchet again?

There's talk brewing that our Cumulus friends in town are worried about cuts that have happened with more to come. It must be terrible going to work and worried if today might be your last day but that appears to be the path that Radio is now blazing. Any radio folks reading this right now raise your hand if you wish you could roll back the clock and pursue another career field. The most alarming news that keeps surfacing is that apparently no one there will be immuned to this next round of cuts. I will never say anything bad about the lady who runs Cumulus locally because I hear she is a real fine person and a great looker to boot, and of course the real reason is because Puff is a nice dragon.

Wow, seems like my first post here from a week ago was accurate when I stated that apparently no one is immune from Cumulus shaving salary. As another poster reports,OM TJ Holland is now out. I wish I could say that I hear that they are done cutting, but I've heard the opposite and a big name or two might be given a copy of the home game and shown the door soon, like Friday? I wont guess who because Puff is a nice dragon.

You are if your last name is Dickey.

Every time someone posts something negative about these corporate clowns, I fear it may continue to dilute what should be unmeasurable outrage over the damage they have done to a once-proud industry.

There is some left-handed form of solace, though. With every employee blood-letting, with every salary reduction, with every new low for revenue, with every less-than-a-dollar stock, with each and every way they continue to gut this industry, those of us who objected look better and better. It feels best to those who got canned by the geniuses and still survive. Remember, living well is the best revenge.

Until these pirates are bankrupt, homeless and living in a Maytag box, there will be no justice (unless they are indicted, prosecuted and imprisoned). Perhaps choking on the massive debt will result in a funeral for this "company". We can only hope.
