Well, it looks like Mega 97.9's el Vacilón de la Mañana is starting to go under. For one thing, they've fired Francis Méndez and Shino. Excuse me, Shino? If there's two things people know el Vacilón for is 1) the crank calls and 2) the musical parodies. And Shino was in charge of the musical parodies!
They've hired Marisol Cobos, who's related to Alejandro Cobos, formerly of WPAT. Now, she's Mexican, and with the Mexican population of New York rising so it's a savvy move.
But they've went ahead and rebranded the whole show as el Vacilón Musical and cut the last hour out... sounds like something music-intensive, which means a lot less laughs in the morning. Pathethic. Why even have Moonshadow with the crew. He has a great pedigree behind him, he should be back with Luis or hell, convince him to move back to Puerto Rico.
