Has Jim Braude changed?

I can't take the hockey talk on Dale and Holley any more, so for the past couple of weeks I've been listening to WTKK. To my surprise, I've heard Jim Braude criticize democrats. Has he been doing this long or is it just because our illustrious governor has put his foot in it several times lately? I remember him from a few years back and he was pretty far to the left. I must admit I didn't listen to him much. Maybe my opinion was wrong. I do remember him proudly proclaiming that he had supported every tax increase ever proposed. I based a lot of my opinion on that statement.

In the early 90s, I had Jim and Barbara Anderson on with me many times when Rod Fritz, Peter Smth and I were trying to make a go of it at WMEX as an all business station. I found Jim to be a guy with a fairly substantial ego but one should expect that. I also found him to be a fair liberal in much the same way that I am a fair consertative. While I was at WRKO, I endorsed Shannon O'Brien over Mitt Romney because I found Romney to be a disingenuous putz who opposed a really good guy for Lt. Govenor, Jim Rappapott in favor of a candidiate with no resume. I believed that a good liberal was better than a bad pseudo conservative who lied about his agenda. Broude is the mirror image of that. He will not back a liberal simply because he or she is a liberal. Jim needs to believe in that person as genuine. I call that being an honest liberal. They are rare, but Jim is one.

I blame Romney for this mess. He left us with Muffy, an unelectable candidate and allowed an unknown carpetbagger, also with a pretty weak resume, but none the less stronger than hers, to be elected. Now look at what we're facing. Right now Rappaport would be a sight for sore eyes.

The amount of 'Look what we inherited' and 'Look at what was on the table when we got here' is very, very humorous. Liberals who want to play 'social scientist' and then, afterward, wash their hands of the disasters they create. All quite obvious, but not at all unexpected from the 'We Meant Well' crowd.

The guy who ultimately got the Big Dig rolling was a Dem gov who looked REALLY good in a tank ("He looks like
Snoopy", said Jerry Williams) and was very, very proud of the good jobs at good wages...etc. In fact it was the last Dem gov before the current one. And trying to remember the last time we had a Republican dominated
Legislature... Though even I will admit the Big Pig can be seen as a bi-partisan boondoggle (Don't forget Matt
Amorello came from the GOP, appointed I believe by the unelected, then unelectable Jane Swift). Anyway,
a pox on all their houses, and at least WTKK has quite a bit of local talk comp. to the mostly syndie folks on
Guest St...

That's because some Dems deserve the criticism. I am a Dem and it would basically sicken me to even give a thought of voting for a Republican....but I am so disgusted with Deval and had high hopes...he's just making bad decisions all over the place.

And Braude...as most level headed people do..sees this and calls the person out, and doesn't just call people out with differing views from him.
