Has KFMB-FM Changed Format?

When looking at the San Diego ratings, I notice www.****************** lists KFMB-FM as Hot AC. OK, sometimes they get format descriptions wrong. We all know it's Jack, known generically as "Adult Hits." But then I looked at its recent playlist on its website. Here's what it played between 4:30 and 5:30 pm on Sat. July 12...

Nico & Vinz--Am I Wrong
Rob Thomas--Lonely No More
American Authors--Believers
Taylor Swift--I Knew You Were Trouble
One Republic--Love Runs Out
Red Hot Chili Peppers--Scar Tissue
Magic!--Rude
Capital Cities--One Minute More
Macklemore--Can't Hold Us
Katy Perry--Birthday
Imagine Dragons--Radioactive
Whitesnake--Here I Go Again
Carrie Underwood--Before He Cheats
Paramour--Ain't It Fun

That doesn't look like Adult Hits to me. Other than Whitesnake, everything is from the last 15 years. Some songs are currents. Maybe they are Hot AC? Or is Adult Hits these days almost the same as Hot AC, with a Whitesnake song the only distinction?

And the ratings have been dropping. They're currently #19, even behind KSSX. Can you ever remember them this low? Are they simply calling themselves Jack for the sake of the familiar name but really they're trying to compete with KMYI?

KFMB-FM "reinvented" themselves, as THEY said, a few months back and became Hot AC. +6 numbers seems to indicate not working to well. Not sure how their targeted audience numbers are doing, but would think not so well.

Kinda sounds like 96.5 Jack-FM here in the Seattle area. Jack-FM stations around the country (and Canada) have that freedom to revolve their playlist from time to time without changing their branding.

Jack-FM San Diego is a lot more current intensive than Jack-FM in Seattle. And Seattle plays Beatles & Stones which you'll never hear on San Diego Jack. I'm pretty sure they don't play anything in the 70s or 80s, no less the 60s. KFMB-FM is Hot AC, not Adult Hits.
