HAS KISS 104.1 GONE TOO MELLOW ?

They sure have added a lot of slow jams. I thought they were trying to go younger, but
after hearing this new sound, sounds like they went ten years older by mistake.

I've already kissed them goodbye and replace them with the New Journey on my auto
presets (I'm not your typical Kiss 104 listener though). Look for Magic up and Kiss down
in the next ratings IMO.

Gregg75, what are you talking about? ???

Overall Urban ACs are boring most of the time with slow jams throughout the day. Majic is just as boring as Kiss is during the daytime with about 60-40 slow jam to mid-tempo/upbeat song selection per hour. They only times you will truly hear upbeat music on an UAC is during their mixshows, if they have one. As a matter of fact, Kiss 104.1 sounds pretty much now like its sister station in Birmingham, WBHK, 98.7 Kiss FM, which is the #1 station that market.

......just keep listening. They've really cut back on artists like Sister Sledge, S.O.S. Band,
Chaka Khan, Cheryl Lynn, etc. I believe all the new slow cuts they've added will come back
to BITE them.

Oh, I recognize the all songs they are playing on YES.com and RadioTime. Urban AC format equals BORING to me regardless of the station or location.

Hence why I'm an avid V-103 listener because a dayparted urban contemporary doesn't put me to sleep except when I want to go after 10pm.
