Given the aforementioned lunch show, the seemingly unchanged playlist, and the Web site (http://www.power983fm.com) that has nothing but their new logo on it...it almost seems like the decision to change was made on a whim.

Yeah I totally agree - I do see that they have a new station image voice but the music is basically the same. Now if I heard some pop rock tunes on the station today then I would say the change has taken place but I wonder if they had pressure from the corp guys to change this morning and as the week progresses they will introduce more pop and rock tunes to the playlist. Even though I didn't like Power, I think having Jamz and Kiss is enough for this market.
