Has KXBT moved to Bee Cave yet?

Has KXBT moved yet?

Who knows, but from what I can tell you, I was catching KXBT all the way in Magnolia TX. That's pretty far, especially since KAMA (formelly KPTY) is closer.

i don't know if they did, i live far north austin, i havent check out the reception out on the station and others. ocassionally i go up and down the fm and am dial to check out what out stations are playing, reception, format changes. i did notice that koop and kvrx is trying for a upgrade from 3 kw to 50 kw at ths same height antenna. ( i believe the height is somewhere about 50-100 ft).

Hey jras, that's a negatory. As of today KXBT still "serves" Dripping Springs. Probably after the first of the year before a COL move is made.

That's remarkable at only 2,350 watts. I live a bit west from you in Bellville, and I have never picked up KXBT or formerly KXXS on 104.9. Typically, KBUK/La Grange is the best catch this way on 104.9.

You'd be surprised, in Bryan TX, I always tune to 104.9 and get KXBT. I never did once get KPTY and KBUK doesn't come in as often as KXBT. Heck, I've DX'd KMIQ from Corpus Christi more than I have from KBUK. Of course, all this happens with the right conditions (Clear Skies, monrings and nights). I was listening to KXBT this morning as a matter of fact. It's just disappointing I can't listen to KDHT.

Those little JVC head units work miracles (Even with 104.7 in the way.)
