Has "The Lake" gone Premium Choice?

I was comparing the yes.com playlists, and listening to WHLK The Lake, and Baltimore's WQSR, 102.7. "Jack FM" Variety Hits station via iheartradio. On this Saturday afternoon, the songlists are identical. Both stations have their custom liners, but Baltimore listeners tuning into "Jack" are hearing the exact same songlist us Clevelanders are hearing on The Lake. I knew WMJI and WBBG were sharing song logs, but I guess this Premium choice thing can be quite customizable between markets

The only difference I find is when The Lake does its "you pick the song" listener driven radio coming out of their stopsets. Of the 3 song choices on the website, the supposed "winner" gets played. On Baltimore's "Jack" all three make it into the lineup back to back to back

I'm curious if WHLK is the station supplying the music for WQSR and the newest "Lake," WLND in Chattanooga. CC doesn't have many jockless adult hit stations (WQSR being a 2005 "Jack" convert by previous owner CBS).

AFAIK, Tony Matteo is still programming WHLK.

WRQK is Premium Choice now. The music is but I'm unsure if they took the jocks. The log is the same as WVBZ, WRXR and others. Active Rock with noticeably more currents and recurrents, less classic rock than WRQK has been playing.

WKDD looks to be all PC music also.

Who is KDD sharing music with? I am sure 101.7 is as well. I figure it is only a matter of time before even the bigger Clevland stations like WGAR Majic and Kiss have thr same music logs as their shared format sister stations around the country. I am surprised Y'Town's 95.9 Kiss FM is not yet a simulcast of 96.5

Add B101 in Providence and 95.3 The River in Fort Myers, FL to the list of conjoined twin CC music stations.

re: WVBZ/Greensboro. I did the imaging launch for that station in 01 when it became a "Buzzard" format. Also launched sister WBZT/Greenville SC, it too a "Buzzard" station (and tracked weekends).

I bet The Lake will benefit from those who don't want to hear 24/7 Holiday music on WDOK. The numbers might go up big time back to when the station went on the air earlier this year.

Speaking of Canton, do you guys think Mix 94.1 might see an increase when My 101.7 makes the switch?
