Has there ever been a popular two-voice morning show?

As I was wincing at Dave's sub-2.0 trend - surely 'led' by All-Access -, it once again begs the question: Can a two-voice morning show break through? (I do not count AJC-plaigiarist 'producer Alan' as a Dave voice.) Or better put, has there, in the last 15 years, been a morning show of distinction with just two voices? The Regular Guys have many recurring sidekicks. 99x has always had 3+; Steve & Vikki has 4 or 5. Randy & Spiff...Kelly & Alpha...Bert Show, etc...all have a mix of 3+ voices. Heck, even the perpetually-broke Classic Soul 102.5 has 4 voices in the morning.

Is Dave the only one that thinks its morning show is working? Would a Jimmy Baron-esque contrarian pump life into it? Is Stevie B going to spontaneously combust if they add a person? All Access is Atlanta radio's version of "Groundhog Day" - every morning sounds like the last. And its too bad because I think the music is fantastic.

I think that frequency is jinxed in Atlanta. That station has a superior signal and has not been able to gain serious traction in recent years as either Z93 or DAVE. With a signal like that, there's no excuse for not having ratings at least 2 times what they've been. But you're probably right.

ALLACCESS is not a good show. It should be called the "it's all about Holly show" it gets very old to listen to and Barnes attempt at "funny" is week at best. Time to scrap it and move on.. NEXT!!!
