Has this been done?

Tivo for car stereos? Whether for Sat-Rad or Am/FM. Ability to pause/rewind/skip. Obviously, you wouldn't be able to set timed recordings (maybe though??)

I have heard of the radio shark device that, IIRC, is mainly for home computer stream recordings.

Anything on this?

I have an MP3 player that also has an FM tuner, and does allow you to record the output of the tuner as an MP3. You can also use it to record from its built-in microphone.

I found these items from Sirius:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4245548 - I saw this one in both Wal Mart this weekend and Best Buy tonight.

I also found this link from Best Buy:

I thought I also saw something similar from XM at Wal Mart, but I couldn't find a link at Wal Mart, Best Buy, or XM.
Edited by ccmfan on 11/08/05 06:06 AM.

So lets narrow it down to standard AM/FM analog reception in a car... Anything?
