Has This Ever Happened On TPIR?

Has there ever been a single episode of TPIR in which in both Showcase Showdowns in which all 6 spinners (3 in the 1st, 3 in the 2nd) just MISSED the $1.00 by THAT MUCH, In which the 1st showdown has all 3 spinners spun their 1st spin hoping it would stop at $1.00, but instead... THE PEG HANGS ON TO DEAR LIFE AT 5 CENTS, (The 1st 2 spinners second spin(s) Stop At $1.00 and go over while the 3rd one goes to the showcase by default) While the 2nd showdown has all 3 spinners spun their 1st hoping it would stop at $1.00 but instead... THE PEG GOES ONE CLICK TOO FAR AND STOPS AT 15 CENTS. (The 1st 2 spinners second spin(s) stop at $1.00 and go over while the 3rd one goes to the showcase by default). This would eventually create the most heartbreaking and most gut wrenching Showcase Showdown ever seen on TPIR. Here's a better more explanation of what i'm talking about here.

Showcase Showdown #1:
Spinner #1:

1st Spin: 5 Cents
2nd Spin: $1.00 (OVER)

Spinner #2:
1st Spin: 5 Cents
2nd Spin: $1.00 (OVER)

Spinner #3: (Automatically In The Showcase)
1st Spin Only: 5 Cents

Showcase Showdown #2:
Spinner #1:

1st Spin: 15 Cents
2nd Spin: $1.00 (OVER)

Spinner #2:
1st Spin: 15 Cents
2nd Spin: $1.00 (OVER)

Spinner #3: (Automatically In The Showcase)
1st Spin Only: 15 Cents

There probably are people that track things like this or could look it up... but this is not quite the right place to ask it. There are other game show/Price is Right message boards where you would be more likely to get a response.

I have heard that they can rig this wheel to land on certain numbers for special shows like celebrity price is right they can make it land on the dollar by some technical system with the wheel.

Well that would be somewhat illegal. Since money is involved that wheel has to be legit.

Even when celebrities play, their winnings go to charities. I agree that rigging the wheel or any other aspect of the game would get the producers in serious trouble, unless they were prepared to put a disclaimer out front saying something like "The following is an exhibition, not a contest, and the result is predetermined." Sometimes I think NBA playoff games and European and South American soccer matches should come with that!

Remember, there was a serious investigation of quiz show frauds about 60 years back, and it put a great deal of fear into the networks, broadcasters, the NAB and show producers.

It would not be worth it for CBS or Fremantle to rig any aspect of the show. Way too much advertising money and legacy in that show to mess with it.
