Simple enough plan. I will add, especially in a press release. Sounds like he was race hustling or poverty pimping to me, but that is just my opinion about people mindlessly publishing their phone numbers in press releases when it comes to what some may call hot button issues.

You guys don't get it. They are being helped by this. A boycott by a nutty left-wing group (redundant, I know) is exactly what these guys want. Free publicity all day long, and their list of sponsors will in fact grow because of this.

Radio doesn't have the television equivalent of "sweeps weeks", but if it did, these guys would want the boycott to come during that time. They'd schedule it if they could.

And folks around here are wondering if this is the end of J&K? Quite the opposite, this is proof that after all these years they are still on their game. These guys run the station and that won't be changing anytime soon. Just ask Ziegler.

J&K and Bill Carroll are both getting the jump on the shooting in Seal Beach today. Eventually, the SBPD will release the names of victims and the shooter. Information KFI had within a matter of minutes via eyewitness accounts, the television networks are still playing catch-up 2 1/2 hours later.

Chalk up yet another win for KFI.
