Have Mercy!

All those days and years of walking into a radio station and seeing all the studios and meeting all the great people in the radio industry, well friend, it all happened again. I walked from studio to studio and realized all over again how fortunate I am to have a connection with one of the great media sources: good old fashioned radio, and AM radio at that. As I drove out of the area, I picked up a young hitchhiker, and when he asked what business I was in (I explained I was in the area on business...) I stated "Radio..." he said, "Cool..." I said AM radio, he said "humm AM radio...I don't listen to AM much..." That's what makes it so darn cool! It's like finding an old 8 track and Cream's Greatest Hits, out in the barn. Fire the thing up! Let's let her rip! Have Mercy! Wolfman Jack's lookin' down and smiling. This is not the end, only the beginning of the days of music and memories to come. Come on! Have Mercy! Come on! Does this sound like fun? -John- p.s. Hope you're along for the ride. ... I'll have more to report.

John Mack Flanagan, welcome back to my Favorite Site! It sure sounds like we will be hearing something soon! Personnally my prefference is to Re unite this Bay Area with the Men and Woman , that made radio Fun, Fun Fun, till the Day CBS took it all away!! Im really hoping that KMAX 95.7 dissapears, at midnite Feb 28th, and they flip it to a Oldies Format!! Out with that annoying Voice Over Guy, In would come Bobby Ocean, John Mack Flanagan, and Chris Edwards! Bonneville has saved so much $$ on the DJ free format! I would settle for Voice Track, Bobby Ocean sounds great on XM s 70 s channel, Radio with no DJ is boring, The woman who is the Oldies Expert is Candi Chamberlin and she would sound great here again !! Where is she? Kenny in Concord

On Candi's listing at 440:Satisfaction (http://www.440int.com), it says:

"I left full-time radio in January 2007; am now employed in financial services; I may work part time in radio at some point in the future, but for now, I am happy to be otherwise occupied..."

John, I agree with Kenny in Concord - it'd be great having you back on-air and elimainating the
"Voice Over Guy" trends. We're hoping the best for ya!
