The PD from Alice was let go, but I don't believe it was related to Cumulus cutting.
 
Yeah, what do you mean? I see where Cumulus is cutting folks all over the country...Dallas lost like 4 or 5 yesterday. Isn't Randy Cane the program director at Alice. Is he gone?

Randy Cain is the P.D. for B-98.5 and may, in fact, now be the Alice P.D. He wasn't when the cut(s) were made.
 
The name is spk1 not special k. From what i understand, regardless of the cumulus buyout, the PD from Alice was gonna be out. His name is Ugly something.
 
I'm hearing that more cuts are coming to Cumulus Little Rock following the Thanksgiving break prior to Christmas break. This is how corporate radio does it. Power 92.3 is a little heavy on talent...Wonder who's out there?

Sorry I called you Special K. I could detect the completely dislike for the other Power mix DJ and assumed you, with the SPK1 handle, was infact Special K. It's my understanding from Toni Seville that Special K and several of the other Power Jocks are all competing for that little bit of Mr. Booker favortism...Please due excuse the mistake SPK1.

I'm just glad Jonesboro doesn't have Cumulus broadcasting yet. None the less, KLAL and those poor folks that have given the blood sweat and tears over the last 5 or 6 years deserve better treatment than what they are getting now.
 
NP Radioman. However, vying for mr. booker's ear is not going to help anyone. I don't think he has any pull. if the hammer gets lowered, i believe the mix jocks are ok. There will be a full time slot if anything gets sliced but who gets the hammer very well could be up to mr. booker. I guess we will find out this week and his mind may have been made up a long time ago.

So far no changes. However, They will need to fix,get rid of that Broadway Joe morning show. Its really not a show. You have a poll question, and the callers do all of the rest. BORING! Live and local don't mean shit if your show sucks! In addition, 18 - 34 is not tuned in which is the demo correct? Then you have to hear the PROMO of the morning show every hour on the hour and who is ever on the air during that time loses listeners when that shit comes on. Folks avoid the Power People Poll and they throw it at you every hour. PLEASE FIX THAT! Folk would rather hear a commercial than that bullshit! I know the folks on the morning show is closer to 60yrs old and late 40's and they are not even trying to relate to the 18 to 34 demo. Good grief!!!!
