I've been reading the number of posts regarding what WIBT in Charlotte did
regarding a morning show stunt that caused criminal charges.
Over the past few years the "corporate" companies have done some things
that should be questioned by the FCC, especially when a "Entercom" station
in Sacramento conducted a contest that resulted in a listener's death.
In the past and present, those broadcasters who did stunts for prizes have
done so without harming anyone, but when owners put money before every
thing else and try to take shortcuts as in the cases mentioned above, i can
see why the radio business has issues.
