Having trouble picking up 95.3 W-B signal

I live in the Wilkes-Barre area and heard of the new 95.3 FM translator that serves the greater W-B area and Kingston. This translator picks up the main "Gem 107.7" signal from Tunkhannock, in which every stereos in the house and even car radios get very weak reception from its main signal.

I am a huge oldies fan, but I am having trouble picking up the 95.3 W-B translator. I am using my T-squred dipole antenna located in the second floor of the house and all I got is some serious interference problems from nearby stations Magic 93 and 98.5 KRZ, thus making the station unlistenable. Also, since your station serves the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area, I can pick up the main 107.7 signal, but there's static.

The other problem is that on my car radio, the 95.3 signal is interfering with another station on the same frequency, unless I am in the Forty Fort area where I believe the transmitter is located(West Wyoming?) This worsens when I approach the Wegman's parking lot off Highland Blvd and Route 309.

I don't want to put up an rooftop antenna and point it in the direction of the transmitter, but is there alternative ways to receive the 95.3 translator signal crystal clear? If so, what types of antennas would I purchase to make this work?

I once drove on Route 115 in Bear Creek at the interchange of the PA Turnpike and I can pick up 107.7 loud and clear because of high elevations.
