Hawaii Tsunami Coverage

As you can imagine given today's events, ALL of Hawaii's TV stations are LIVE with WALL TO WALL coverage of the quake in Japan that triggered a Tsunami (More so than Guam interestingly enough)

Here are the links.....

KHON 2 (FOX) - http://www.khon2.com/content/mediacenter/live.aspx?videoId=8928&navCatId=4

KITV 4 (ABC) - http://mfile.akamai.com/12891/live/reflector:53063.asx - DIRECT PLAYER URL

KFVE 5/KHNL 8/KGMB 9 (CW/NBC/CBS) - http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/Global/category.asp?C=176904&nav=menu55_1_1

It does look like KHON 2 has gone back to regular programming but of course this could change as developments warrant

Have yet to see what coverage there is on radio though

Cheers :D

Guam has a fragmented TV market with only like 2 TV stations with news operations, and it's under a higher level of alert since it's much closer to Japan and the epicenter.

Now the coverage (Except for KTTV 11 in Los Angeles) has shifted to the Portland, OR stations. Here are the links.....

KATU 2 (ABC) - http://fischer.wmlive.internapcdn.net/live_fischer_KATU1 - DIRECT PLAYER URL

KOIN 6 (CBS) - http://www.koinlocal6.com/content/live/default.aspx

KGW 8 (NBC) - http://www.kgw.com/live-stream

KPTV 12 (FOX) - http://a978.l2557849025.c25578.n.lm.akamaistream.net/D/978/25578/v0001/reflector:49025 - DIRECT PLAYER URL

One footnote however, NWCN IS NOT providing its LIVE coverage on their website NOR are they mirroring KGW's coverage. That's surprising.

Hey, at least the Hawaii Five-0 production crew wasn't impacted by the tsunami. I think I'll put this item in the "So What?" file or as one person said: "We were all so worried about Hawaii 5-0. It’s important to realize what really counts in a time of crisis." Amen.

What about "Dog the Bounty Hunter", provided that his family was in Hawaii and not Colorado? (Sorry, can't resist.)

Part of Dog's family works full time in Hawaii to man his office there even when the usual crew are in Colorado

But even if everyone was in Hawaii, the state wasn't as heavily impacted as some feared it would be
