Have a listen to 93.9 Jamz http://www.hot93.9.com/ Because its gold based its considered Rhythmic AC,, but they dont play tired old Disco and Funk records, and no slow jamz,, This is how a Rhythmic AC should sound. I am posting this here because at least what I have heard during nights is about 60 percent classic Dance.. Euro 90s,, some Freestyle,, some R7B and Rhythmic POP... No currents that I know of at this time. But its definately a Classic Rhythmic Dance format... just how the Dance stations of the 80s and 90s sounded, long before the COX Dance Stations, or Both KDLs, Energy AZ and Chicago, Mega 93.3, Pulse87 KTU ETC....
This is how Dance Rhythmic CHRs used to sound. Check it out if you havent already.. I actually hope this station stays gold leaning, as I have plenty of Choices of Current Dance online and on SAT, but it would be cool if KUMU lost the battle and flipped to current Dance.. KUMU is still way too AC sounding.
