Hawks headed to 92.9 The Game Next Season

Good move. I think the demographic The Game wants fits more with The Hawks. the Game also needs more live events. It would be great if they got Westwood One Football package. I'd listen to them much more.

The Fan is more Football and Baseball based anyways. This move clears more time for hat they focus on to begin with.

I wish 790 would get a signal on the FM Dial you could actual hear.

Who's going to replace Jerome middays?

They really need to make a change with their 2-6 PM show. I think moving Mac & Jason up to that slot would be an upgrade.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned a certain non-compete that should be expiring this month...of talent from this very format
 
I wonder if CBS will take the "Stews" and shorten some of the existing shows and work them in. CBS seems to be in this for the long haul. Didn't WFAN take a couple of years to become the billing monster it is now?

Unless they are still in negotiations (or not happening at all), I would imagine they would be hyping it already. WSB had Boortz billboards all over ATL while he was serving out his WGST noncompete.
 
WFAN didn't become a ratings monster until they flipped from the weak 1050 to the old 660 WNNNNBC signal. Whether you like him or not Imus was still big then. Leading off the day with him on the massive signal was the perfect storm for success.

Regarding the Game's line-up, I find the PMD show unlistenable. I agree with either inserting the Stews or sliding Mac and Jason down and adding the Stews for the evenings.

Instill think they should buy LFM and take Mayhemand Archer and Bell to the bigger signal and turn theZone into CBS Sports syndicated programming.
