Hawks Radio

Translation, 790 has NO signal at night. Did not carry all games. Carried a coaches snooze show instead on NBA. 97.9 can be heard in many more parts of metro Atlanta at night, and NO coaches shows pre empting.. Win, win... Period end of story!

There are actually two northside translators---one at 92.1 or 92.3. It is moving to 92.5 eventually. The other is currently on the air at 93.7-licensed to Sandy Springs. Thats the one that has a CP for 250/roughly 1000 ft. 92.5 may be boxed in due to the Bear at 92.5 down south

There's also a low-power 92.1 translator in Lilburn that duplicates a non-commercial religious station in North Georgia. The tower is on Lawrenceville Highway in the parking lot of a church, just about a mile north of the Home Depot, which I think is at Lawrenceville Highway and Jimmy Carter Boulevard.

The CP for the 92.5 one doesn't look like much: http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=W221CG&service=FX&status=C&hours=U

And W275BK is a LOT closer to WMJE than the 92.5 translator CP is to WEKS. I'm just saying.
