KFYI announced this morning they fired Joe Crummey to make room for JD Hayworth. The guy that no one wanted to vote for is now supposed to get ratings.
46.4% of the people voted for J.D. So your statement isn't even close to accurate, I hardly call 93,300 people "no one"... but hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your spin.headphonejack said:KFYI announced this morning they fired Joe Crummey to make room for JD Hayworth. Once again, in the issue of fairness, I must bring up that J.D. did garner 46% of the vote in the last election, it's not like he lost by a landslide.KOOL Listener Lauren said:How dare they FIRE the Evil One! I was thinking he might have left, but... this plain sucks. I don't think JD could ever come close. Didn't we learn something from the last election? If more people liked him, he'd get much more votes than he did... and I'd bet only the ones who like him WILL take the time to listen. If ratings were what KFYI was thinking about, looks like they missed a heck of a lot!![]()

Crummey didn't exactly have a great show, it was serviceable, but nothing spectacular--kind of survey radio like. That said, I'll give J.D. a chance, but am expecting nothing all that fabulous.

Yes, they'll beat Ankarlo, but big deal, they'll be nobody to listen to on phoenix afternoon radio. Those idiots need to change their motto form "Talk for a new generation" to "Windbag radio". Yuck. Dumb fools. Guy's not a Dudeboss-he's a dipstick.I"M MAD!!!!
Oh, then I stand corrected, a reputable magazine article from nearly 10 years ago that votes on someone with such a credible title obviously means we can make judgments about a show prior to hearing it.porfavor said:"In 1998, Hayworth was voted the second biggest "windbag" in Congress in Washingtonian magazine's survey of 1,200 congressional staff members of both parties."
Need I say more?!
