HBO, Showtime, Starz, Skin-a-max.....meet Epix!

Showtime has been building up its original shorter-form (60 minute) productions...and they can work with CBS (Showtime's owner) on new ventures. Keep in mind HBO and Showtime are cleaning the clocks at the Emmys now...and broadcast is not.

They may have to scale back on the simulcasts if something happens to their back catalog movie deals or if they run into problems. I see Showtime repositioned as a network for original series that can air of a more mature nature.

The best thing would be to go back to 2005 and let Viacom have Showtime and the related networks (The Movie Channel and Flix). Since time travel has not been invented yet...CBS should sell Showtime to Viacom.
