HD-100 for $80 during Holiday Special

I wouldn't hold my breath for a "new and improved AM system". I would love to see one, but am not hopeful. Besides, I don't see how such is even possible, with 10khz spacing, and no extra channels. A gallon (digital audio) may fit in a quart container (FM HD), But a PINT?

I wonder if the "Extended Protection Plan" will allow you to download a firmware update for a new and improved AM system?
IF so, I'm game.

I have the H101 revision of the HD100, their latest version. Using just the supplied loop antenna, its AM performance is very good. The non-HD local channels come in clearly and all the local HD channels come in clearly too.

You think that if FM is a quart, AM is a PINT, Mike? More like a shot glass!

...Or that succulent 3.2 beer they used to sell in college towns with an 18-year-old “consumption age” – back when dinos roamed the planet – and AM radio sounded “decent”!
