HD-2s for the "other" Indiana markets

Now that the rollouts for the HD2s in Indianapolis have been announced(excepting Radio One) our focus will turn to the "other cities" Any word on Evansville, Terre Haute, Ft Wayne, South Bend and when they might roll out their HD signals?
______________

Good question. I'm guessing Emmis owned WTHI "Hi-99" in Terre Haute will be the first in that area to debut. And I'm sure to compete with the Chicago market Northwest Indiana will also have a handfull of stations that "roll out their HD signals."

Won't happen for a long time. Too much money with no apparent payoff. The only reason the larger markets are doing it; the major groups are the owners of Ibiquity.
______________
I get paid to be suspicious when I've got nothing to be suspicious about.

My guess would be the next stations to announce anything would be WTHI-FM and 105.5 The River in Terre Haute because the stations are owned by Emmis (although I've heard say that Terre Haute is "too small" for Emmis). None of the other stations/broadcasters in Terre Haute will jump on the HD bandwagon until the technology is proven and moderately popular.

Hank on WTHI-HD2.

I think the same will hold true in all of the other markets you mention, except that Emmis doesn't exist. Regent would be first in Evansville, I suspect. Although someone recently wrote here that a couple of non-comms in Evansville had their IBOC equipment on site, just not running yet.

My guess is the next markets in Indiana to go online on HD will be Evansville and Ft Wayne since there the 2nd and 3rd largest markets in Indiana. Terre Haute, Lafayette, South Bend will wait till its a proven commodity.
