HD Aircheck: WJMK HD-2 Chicago

Guess you can call this one of my first HD airchecks.

WJMK HD-2 (104.3) Chicago 3-16-06 9:10PM Oldies (Jockless. Dick Biondi on Vacation) :45min

When WJMK flipped from Oldies to Jack on June 3rd, this is where the oldies format went. Except for the sound quality, the station sounds just like it did before they changed the regular FM. Even has a full airstaff and a few advertisers.

The fact that Chicago got to keep most of their WJMK oldies format and New York was left with a shell of WCBS-FM without any personalities has continued to bother me.

It's really to bad... WCBS was one of my favorite stations to get airchecks from, wish they would have put JACK FM on their HD2 channel and kept CBS-FM on 101.1 as is!

Does WJMK-HD2 actually just broadcast in mono over the air, or was this just recorded that way?
