I'm often in rental cars & hotel rooms. No HD AM-FM in most rentals cars.
And Ive never seen HD AM FM in a hotel room.
And recently Ive been in hotel rooms that only had an FM clock radio. No AM.
A bad omen for AM .

I wasn't aware there were clock radios with no AM. But you learn something new every day. I just did a Google on it and there was at least one that cost $99 with FM Stereo, no apparent AM, and an Ipad docking port on it.

The lack of HD radios in hotels I can understand, same with rental cars. Probably want to go as inexpensive as possible for something like that.
