"HD Digital Radio has yet to generate great demand"

"Hodges declined to give specifics on sales, but said the company is continuing to add HD Digital Radio receivers to its stores. They are now sold in 2,800 Radio Shacks across the country."

2006, showed some interest in HD Radio, but is now waining, after a $200,000,000 ad campaign:

But, this interest is flat-lined, compared to other competing technologies:

And, we know, that part of this article is a fluff-piece, claiming that most consumers do not know about HD Radio, when, in fact, that 75% of consumers are aware of HD Radio, at some level. Just like the HD Radio Cartel, NO COMMENT ON THE NUMBER OF HD RADIOS SOLD ! :D
