The following appeared in Inside Radio and given the opinions expressed in the HD thread on this board, I couldn't help wonder if the type of receiver mentioned in the news item will help promote HD.

The I-Sonic entertainment system is the first receiver that combines terrestrial and satellite radio capabilities - plus a DVD/CD player. So far most of the first shipments have gone to broadcasters who've pre-ordered the I-Sonics for monitoring and giveaways. They're also retailing at Tweeter for $599 but Polk says supplies "will continue to be tight for the next 60 days."
