HD Internet Streaming

Anyone know of any Internet stations broadcasting in HD? What streaming companies offer this and how much is it?

Any streaming company that offers enough bandwidth to do it offers the opportunity. It just depends how much you're able to pay for it. The more bandwidth (depending on how many listeners you have at any given time and just how high-quality your stream is), the more expensive it will be. I think the highest I've seen streaming services offer is the bandwidth for 128k streaming, which is pretty high for MP3 (and definitely HD if you get into AAC+ territory). If you want anything above that, you're probably going to have to provide a high-capacity broadband connection yourself.

It really does depend on what you define as "HD"! 128k MP3 is pretty close to 48k AAC+ v2 or vice versa, depends on which way you look at it.

Now, personally I think the "HD" as applied to radio is a pile of marketing BS, but that's my 2c!
