HD Missing on WTIC-AM 1080

WTIC-AM 1080 has not been in HD for at least a couple days. WBAL from Baltimore on 1090 is coming in great tonight. I'm sure DXers across the Atlantic Seaboard are rejoicing. I wonder if WTIC turned the HD off for good.

I wonder if the analog audio is still delayed like it was a few weeks ago during the UConn/Rutgers football game.

I received a reply from WKCI chief engineer Fred Santore about their missing HD. He states that they had a strange power surge recently that took out a power supply to the main transmitter and took out the main power supply to the digital transmitter. He was able to fix the main transmitter, but the digital one had to go back to the factory. He hopes to restore it on Friday.

I noticed.
WCBS-FM was coming in quite clear on my car radio practically into the New Haven area.
