HD radio and HD2

Can the HD radios being sold today pickup the HD2 streams being publicized? Why would you buy a radio that couldn't pick them up?

I have one of those that doesn't pick up HD2. I assumed it was full-featured when I bought it. Luckily, I'm still within the 30 day return period. In order to pick up the HD2 streams, it must specify "Multicast Capable". The one I have only has "HD Tuner" and that will only get you the main HD stream.

No..current IBOC radios can only pick up the main stream...if they are 2nd IBOC stream capable, they will say so on the box..otherwise, assume they do NOT pick up the 2nd stream (I refuse to call IBOC HD Radio....HD does NOT mean High Def in this case)
