HD Radio being tried in Thailand

http://beradio.com/currents/radio_currents_032706/index.html#radio

You know, that sounds like a good move on their part. Keeping it on one slice of Thailand's FM band should prevent interference with their other, analog FM stations.

Also, HD really has no digital mode competition on FM because the DRM (Digital Radio Mondiale) Consortium is more interested in Long Wave, Medium Wave, and Short Wave (150 kHz - 30 MHz) operation. -- Jason
