HD Radio Myrtle Beach

The only local HD in Myrtle Beach is 98.5 Kiss FM which only uses HD2 for Fox Sports Radio. Cumulus doesn't even use the HD1 correctly.

As for the rest of the local stations no one else is using HD not even the local Iheartradio stations.

If iheartradio plans on putting HD on

WGTR HD1 Gator 107.9 Country
WGTR HD2 Classic Country

WRXZ HD1 Rock 107.1 Rock
WRXZ HD2 Alternative

WYNA HD1 104.9 Bob FM Adult Hits
WYNA HD2 The Breeze Soft AC

WWXM HD1 Mix 97.7 Top 40
WWXM HD2 Classic Hip Hop

@radiolives please explain how 98.5 HD1 isnt used correctly? There's not a ton of ways to screw it up.

Classic hip hop is the only one of those formats not available in Myrtle. Although that depends on how you define "alternative", since WKZQ is said to lean active.

WKZQ definitely leans more Active than it did a couple of years ago. It's good for me since it sort of resembles WTPT 93.3 from Greenville-Spartanburg, which was one of my favorite stations where I used to live.
