HD Radio Plug & Play at CES

I got this from the XMFAN radio board. A brand new plug & play that receives HD radio. It features a wireless FM transmitter to get the signal to your standard FM radio. Doesn't this kinda defeat the whole purpose of HD Radio to send it thru a crappy wireless FM transmitter? But I digress...

Well, you'll be able to pick up the HD 2 channels. By most accounts that is the only real attraction HD has. The HD audio can be better than analog, but often isn't. Between the processing used by the station and the road noise, it's pretty hard to much about fidelity tell in a car anyway.

The new add on box doesn't make me want to get out my check book just yet.
