HD Radio Portables/Walkmans

Any plans announced by anyone to feature a HD Walkman Radio in the near future(or even by 2007?) Particularly one with a CD player included, but I'll take just the radio if that is all they can offer right now.<P ID="signature">______________

The Radiosophy is the closest thing so far www.radiosophy.com It is a portable unit that will haev docking stations for car/home and the portable speaker that come with it. My undestanding is that the HD circuit uses so much power that you cannot run it off of AA batteries and needs to be plugged into the car cigarette lighter port for power.

Figures. I finally heard an actual HD Radio (made by Boston) and the signal of AM 850-KFUO/Clayton (St. Louis) MO --- the only AM (Clear Channel and Bonneville have put on 3 or 4 FMs in HD Radio) in this area with the HD Radio signal.

I must say --- the STEREO SIGNAL coming out of the HD Radio made the KFUO-AM midday contemporary Christian music sound as good as regular FM. Now if only their FM (Classic99.com) would get an HDRadio transmitter and start sending out the classical music in that crisper sound!

Give it time Grasshoopper. I am sure improvements in technology will come. Lets let the dust settle here for a little.

It is amazing how good music can sound on an HD AM station. Now if we can jsut get through this issue with nighttime and how broas the HD signal is. Not sure if they can come up with a fix for that!
