Hd radio question

On saturday night I was driving home from the LA, I noticed KIIS FM analog signal off the air but I was picking up the HD1 and HD2 digital just fine. Does 102.7 have two signals or feeds?

There are two separate transmitters for analog and digital, and it is possible for one to be on and the other off... in fact, some stations have separate antennas for the two signals.
