HD Radio Question

I did not post this in the HD update thread because I figure that everyone in that thread has one. I have one which was given to me by a freind a few years ago. I rarely use it. How many of you have an HD Radio? How often do you use it. Also, tell me if you don't have one.

I forgot to add that my wife has one in her car. However, she streams audio through her Bluetooth and listens to that. She has it and never uses it.

I have one in my car, but only use is on the way to work in the morning to listen to KRBE. Other than that I’m always using MIX ON SET or APPLE MUSIC. Sometimes I use YouTube music since it’s included on YouTube premium but it’s rare that I use the music part of it.

Our only HD receiver is in one of our cars. The HD subchannels I sometimes listen to are Classical on KUHF HD-2, Oldies on both the KRBE and KGLK HD-2 signals, and occasionally the 80s format on KHPT HD-2. Will also listen to SportsRadio 610 via KILT-FM HD-2.

Having said that, the same car also has SiriusXM, and that is what we listen to on out of town trips. Overall most of our SiriusXM listening is at home through our Roku (audio routed into our stereo system via the TV.)

Have toyed with purchasing an HD radio for home use, but having access to SXM greatly reduces my motivation to do so.

The local classical music station is really a rimshot where I live. However, they are rebroadcast on a local HD-2. I listen to that occasionally. But mostly Sirius/XM and my flash drive.

I got a few HD radios enjoy the extra content and better sound. I have it in my car also I like it. Only wished there was more AM HD stations out there then just one in my area, and it's not that strong.

I have some portables that I mainly use for checking for updates and DXing. I also have a tabletop radio that’s mostly used for 106.9 HD2. Wish I had HD in the car as I’d like to listen to dance music on 93.7 HD2 and 95.7 HD2.

I have HD capabilities in all five of my four wheeled vehicles in the D.C. area, and one of my three vehicles at my second home close to the Olympic Peninsula, WA.
One of my three motorcycles have HD. I also have a Sangean HD receiver in my home shop, two Insignia HD radios, one in my garage, and one in my home office. At work, I have a Sony HD tuner in my office.

Also, tell me if you don't have one.
I used to have a JVC aftermarket unit with HD Radio on my Chevy back in the mid 2000s. I used it fairly often since this was before Bluetooth and mobile internet were widely available. I enjoyed the extra offerings and thought it was a feature worth upgrading to. Liquid Buzz used to be my go-to station since it was commercial free.

But in 2009, I purchased a new daily driver that didn't have HD Radio. But what it did have was Bluetooth built into its entertainment system. Once I got the hang of a few audio apps, HD Radio felt like a useless novelty that I no longer needed. I no longer own an HD unit
